Marine Engineer: MOT Ist Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act 1958. One year post Qualification experience as Chief Engineer / 2nd Engineer on board a foreign going Ship.

Dredger Commander: Certificate of competency as Master Foreign Going holder with experience as Chief Officer for at least six months Or Certificate of competency as Dredger Master Gr.I with 2 years experience on Dredgers Or Certificate of competency as Master NCV with 2 years experience on Dredgers. Or Officers who held the post of Lt. Commander /Commander in Executive branch of the Indian Navy with at least seven years sea service.

Age Limit:

Marine Engineer: Maximum 40 years

Dredger Commander: Maximum 45 years

Procedure of Selection: Based on Personal Interview

Pay Scale:

Marine Engineer: Rs.29100-54500/-

Dredger Commander: Rs. 29100-54500/-
